At Europe Economics, Ziqing works on market and investor analysis, WACC (cost of capital) estimation, economic impact assessment, and policy evaluation. Her work includes both quantitative and qualitative analysis, such as analysing data, reviewing literature, and drafting detailed proposals and reports that guide strategic decision-making. She also helps with crucial administrative responsibilities.

She holds an MPhil in Finance and Economics from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Economics and Strategy for Business from Imperial College Business School. Her previous research focuses on financial market volatility, asset pricing, and technological transformation.

 

Critique of regulatory judgements

One form of legal case involves a challenge to regulatory decisions. One form of a legal case is judicial revision of policy decisions. Such policy decisions are often supported by quantitative models. Those models can be critiqued in various ways – criticised or defended on the basis of their methodology or the data used.
