Martha’s work focuses on applied economic research and policy analysis, combining quantitative methods with evidence-based evaluation to inform regulatory and policy decisions. She has experience supporting projects for government bodies, regulators, and industry organisations, with recent work spanning financial regulation, labour markets, and regulatory impact assessment. Her work has included econometric analysis, impact assessment, and the synthesis of complex evidence to support decision-making.

Prior to joining Europe Economics, Martha worked as a research assistant at the Global Priorities Institute at the University of Oxford and the Leibniz Institute for Economic Research. Across these roles, she contributed to empirical research and policy-relevant analysis using a range of quantitative techniques.

Martha holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford and a First Class BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham. She has a strong background in applied econometrics, including quasi-experimental methods.

Outside of work, she enjoys horse riding and taking on ambitious cooking projects. She is a native German speaker and fluent in English.
