Stela Bagasheva is an Analyst at Europe Economics. She joined the company in April 2017. Prior to joining Europe Economics, she worked at the ex-post economic evaluation team at DG Competition, as a research assistant in a trade policy think tank in Brussels and a researcher in a development bank in Greece.
Stela has a keen interest in empirical analysis of public policy and competition issues. Her dissertation analysed the effects of public healthcare policy on the entry of innovative medicines.
Stela is fluent in English and Italian, in addition to her mother tongue Bulgarian, and is currently learning French and Russian.
